Reikihm

As an alternative to Reiki or Indian Head Massage as a full treatment on their own, I have combined the benefits of both together to create something new and very special

The treatment lasts an hour and is split into two halves. In the first half hour I perform Indian Head Massage followed by Reiki to complete the hour long treatment.
The first two, of three, stages of Indian Head Massage works on releasing tension found in the muscles located in the neck, shoulders and arms, while also stimulating the head and improving circulation. The third and final part works on the pressure points found on the face and ears helping with any tension in the head or with sinus problems for example.

Before I begin the final stage of Indian Head Massage I ask the client to move from the chair to the therapy table for their increased comfort. By doing this it also allows me to seamlessly move into performing Reiki for the duration of the treatment. It provides the opportunity for some deep relaxation after the stimulation of the Indian Head Massage and is wonderful, leaving you feeling deeply relaxed and revitalized. It has become a very popular treatment.

I also believe that Reikihm™ is an excellent way of introducing somebody to Reiki. A full hour can be a little difficult for some people to relax for that duration of time on their first experience. However, once their mind knows what to expect, they will find it much easier the second time around.
